South of Thessaloniki

The route from Northern Greece to Athens is rather uneventful. It is a long way for an old fellow like me. Slugging along at 45mph is about right. The rest of the traffic is not much faster. I got stopped at small villages and we visited the odd chapel. The boss took advantage to get the protection of Saint Christophorus. Who now adores the dashboard.

They also lit a candle for the living and the dead in the family and beyond.

Today arrived at Volos a rather unassuming town and we will be on the way to Athens tomorrow.

Weather wise, I have been getting wet. But fortunately when packing up in the morning it has been dry.
The temperature is still pretty cold and my temperature is running low . Even going up Mt Olympus. The gods were angry thatr night as we heard a great thunderstorm. Zeus did not like Willy ?

So you next in Athens.
