ACROPOLIS / Athens

Willy stayed at the campground whilst the pilot went to Central Athens.

With a bus and then the subway is just as easy. No parking in Athens for foreigners like me.

The Acroplis remains an incredible site. Imagine buildings that have been there for thousands of years. It all stands out so prominently in the skyline. It is build on a hill over looking a very large part of Athens.
At night it is beautifully lit. We could see it from the campground (with binoculars)

They only had the morning to visit Athens, as a new co-pilot was arriving at 2PM.

And she was spot on time. After an SMS to let her know where Willy was was, she arrived withing 30 seconds. The pilot was still sorting things out and she knocked on the door.

Great to have Marielle on board.
