HORA SFAKION
Today is a rest day after a hard drive over steep country side.
I had to stop for goats.
Fancy hitting a one of those. The goat will lose against my solid front.
Hora Skafion or Skafia is a very pretty port on the south coast.
From here the Australian and New Zealand troops evacuated to Egypt after they were pushed out by the Germans'in May 1941. They got their revenge eventually.
I am standing next to the memorial with some friends.
The memorial commemorates this evacuation.
Today we will wonder up the coast a little and have a swim in the Aegean Sea this afternoon.
